Astronomy will cover the essential history of humankind's effort to understand the universe from the earliest days to the modern scientific efforts. Students will learn about observational astronomy, planetary science and the solar system, stellar evolution and the life-cycles of stars, galactic evolution and modern cosmology concepts, as well as participate in in-the-field labs and experiences.
